Now that Aveda’s Earth Month is over, Aveda is turning to another cause they strongly support. Check out their blog, where they talk about the decline of bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies. Because a bulk of the ingredients in Aveda products are plant and flower derived, Aveda is partnering with the Xerces Society to help bring back the pollinators. If you visit any of the Experience Centers such as the Aveda store in the Glendale Galleria or the Aveda store in the Beverly Center, you can sign a pledge and the experience centers will give you a packet of organic sunflower seeds to plant and help the pollinators.
AAAND NOOWW!!!!…..3 simple reasons for why you should:
1) It’s Free to sign the pledge and you’ll get pretty flowers to plant!
2) If you have kids, this is a great way for them to learn and have some fun this summer as they watch their flowers grow and look for potential butterflies trying to pollinate the flowers
3) You’ll be doing something nice for our planet! and just a big plain ol’ Why Not?!!!
